DESCRIPTION:Green Screen Film: 5 Day Virtual Workshop for Ages 9 and Up Tuesday\, July 28th through Saturday\, August 1st 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM Welcome to the new world! In this unique virtual film class\, we?ll create a film with all of our filmmakers in different locations! How is that possible you may ask? Through the power of Zoom\, some talented at home filmmakers armed with smart devices and green pasteboard from your local dollar store. Learn film making\, green screen and how to storyboard and script your own film. So\, how will this work? The class will meet each day in a Zoom session. Each class will present a specific film skill or process (framing your shots\, using at home lighting\, solving sound issues\, editing\, etc.). By the end of our 5 Day Session\, one collaborative film will be our final product! This workshop will operate as a live virtual class using Zoom. Students wishing to participate in the workshop will need a device to access and set up a free Zoom Account\, have access to a recording device\, such as a smartphone\, and materials to set up a green screen in their home. A bright neon green bed sheet or 4 to 6 sheets of neon green pasteboard would suffice. Cost for the 5 Day Virtual Workshop is $20. Registration and prepayment is required. Space is limited. This workshop is subject to change due to changing COVID-19 restrictions.
